I just realized that I'm starting to work on ECON-102 at Saylor, when I'm supposed to be doing ECO-111 from Straighterline. What is the difference and how does it impact difficulty and cost? Thank you
Can someone please help me with the questions? Thank you

Aren't both those courses macroeconomics courses? You can take either one if so. Saylor is only $25, but the structure frustrates a lot of people.
I think straighterline will run you $150 (?), but people are happier with the learning experience

If you asked just last week, my answer would be Straighterline as the course at Saylor was just evaluated for ACE credit and passed March 2. After reviewing your plan, you might be better off taking it at Saylor as you will be familiar with their system. You should also register for the 3 DSST course exams at the end of this month or at least a week or two before April 30 as there is a Buy 2 get 1 free exam. You will save a month subscription of SL and two course fees from this route.
My suggestion is to go through a Saylor course a week at a time and pass the proctored final the first time. Otherwise, you need to wait 14 days before you can do the final again. Note, this applies to the non proctored final as well. I read it will affect your timeline if you fail the non proctored one. So, don't rush it and study the materials or get some extra guides or books at the library for study.

Thank you for such a good feedback.
I registered all courses at Saylor and I have stared to work on Macro.
I will def try to do a course a week even though the material is extensive in some of the cours s and require time to learn the concepts.
I will also register for the DSST since they have that promo will take advantage.
I found a school Sophia.org hat is ACE accredited and it seems there is no final exams but assignment based courses. It is not cheap but not sure if doing the work can get passed some cours s without the stress of proctored finals.
I have not seen it mentioned but I'm sure ther now a reason not to use it besides cost.
Regarding my Microsoft certs I was only able to receive credit for MCSE2003. All the older ones do not receive credit any more. All others fall before a required date from ACE. I called ACE to discuss this topic since it doesn't make sense not to get credit for the same Microsoft certs 3 days before. Anyways their policy and was not able to get credit for the rest.
I wanted to know if I should do the free Kaplan PLA for 3 credits
I'm currently trying to read and study 2-4 hours per day but not every day I can invest the time. Then at night will do 1-2 hours for days I can't.
I reached out to TESU yesterday to get the other two courses pre-approved.
I'm pretty committed to finish the BS and continue wih MBA

Plenty of people on here have taken Sophia courses. I took Project Management, it was a good course. BUT, the final was proctored. I think all of their courses have a proctored final.

It looks like the path to least resistance might be the TESU BSBA. You can also have you certificates reviewed at WVU TECH. They're RBA program most likely will accept these. Then you'd still have to complete 8 courses at $288 a credit. AoE available is Information Studies. Cost wise TESU beats them.

Hello,
I've been working on the Principles of Macroeconomics - Saylor course. The amount of information to read/study is massive v.s the time I can dedicate to it.
Will the InstantCert - CLEP preparation study material help supplement the course and do well in the Final Exam?
I have no issues in readying and studying the content, my current situation is a time limitation per day which is pushing back my Roadmap.
Anyone has been successful with passing Saylor courses with Instantcert study material? Any information on additional study sites is greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I've experience in Marketing and know concepts. I invested about 4 hours today going over BUS203 : Principles of Marketing and I felt pretty good about trying the Final exam. I was at work so I decided not to do the proctored and got 78%. I kind of regret not doing the proctored since now I have to take it again. I just wanted to share with you the experience.
