Cool! so how do I get the evaluations started with them? And I have found the center on the military base I can go to, and yes i have been reading more and it's making more sense every time lol thank you!

You go ahead and apply (costs $75). After a week or so they accept you, then you send all your transcripts over. About a month after that, your academic evaluation will be populated with all your transfer credits. Each time you pass a CLEP or DSST, you get to send the score to one school for free, so list TESU, and each exam will show up as you do them. If you either make a phone appt with advising and tell them what you're planning to take, or email that info to them, they'll add them to your plan as planned credits.

ok Thank you! and after I pass a CLEP/DSST how do i know they gave me credit? do they email me the proof? just incase i pick TESU for them to send my score and they tell me they didnt get it and do you know what the passing score is for the CLEP/DSST exams are?

Yes, you know your score and whether it's a passing one as soon as you finish the test. You will get an email from TESU when they receive it. If for some reason TESU doesn't get it (never happened to me) just contact CLEP or DSST and tell them it didn't get there.

ok I understand and If i haven't applied with TESU yet, will CLEP/DSST send me transcripts so that I can transfer to TESU when I do apply?

It looks like your school might be nationally accredited http://southwestuniversity.edu/about-us/accreditations/. Others here can explain better than I what that means if that's the case.

My recommendation? Make like a bunny and get over to your post's education office. The person who works there should be able to answer LOTS of questions for you regarding CLEPs and DSSTs, and they might even have study material.

Good Eye, as nationally accredited courses NOT transferable to TESU unless it's ACE or NCCRS recommended...

Well, back to the drawing board, we'll see what can be done... a PLA or something of your completed credits...
Your best bet right now is just to continue with your CLEP and DSST testing and see how they evaluate these...

oh great! they told me they were regionally accredited , anyway so im guessing i might have to take those classes over again? what is a PLA you speak of? and yes im dropping out of that university and going to move forward with testing
