Grrrr....Us History I
#11
I just passed the history test with a 64! Feels good to have it out of the way. There were some things that I didn't remember reading about, but I was either absolutely sure or made a pretty good guess on about 2/3rds of the questions. There were a few I had to randomly guess on, and some that I had to choose between 2 or 3 possible answers. I must say, the REA book is a great resource. Peterson's will only confuse you. I also studied Barron's American History The Easy Way, and it is a great read. Best of luck to you, mommydoodle!!

Hey all,
I tried to look for posts about US History 2, so sorry for interrupting this forum with a US History 2 question, but I desperately need some advice, and can't seem to make my own post question. Can anyone give me tips on the US History 2 exam? If you have a study guide that really pertains to a lot of the questions on the exam, that would be very much appreciated. Right now I'm just using IC, but is that enough? Your help would be wonderful!

I agree with campbell0021 suggestion. Remember you are never alone in this when you have IC. Lots of people have passed the exams already and have found helpful resources.

Also, here is what I used for resources (just scroll down past US History I):

I am in the same boat as you -- I have been studying hours at a time for over a week-- and the best I got was a 42 on Peterson's--- I have past 3 other tests and have used Peterson's before and found it true to form--- tomorrow is my US History Exam, so I will keep you posted!

BTW-- I read every thread about US History I and found many shared Peterson's was much harder, as well as, this is one of the hardest tests---

Believe me part of my wants to postpone- but I can't see how I will be able to fit in my full time job and full time classes that start on Monday___

Best,
Stacy

Thanks for sharing all your study info-- I usually walk into the testing center feeling so much more confidental-- I only studied for a a little longer than a week, but I spent at least 3 hours a day-- I am really stressing, I want to graduate today!! Boy lots of facts on this one---

I take exam tomorrow. Hopefully, I will pass!

For future reference, the REA book you are referring to, is that a hard book or something you reference online?
