Has anyone here ever been to a Grey Wolf Lodge Indoor Waterpark? I'm taking my family later this month here in Texas. Just wanted to know how it is from your experience.
Thanks,

We went to Great Wolf Lodge in Virgina two years ago. It was great! If we had the money we would go again. It is expensive, especially since we have a large family(7 kids!).

Yeah no kidding, I was looking at the prices. Our unit is having a Marriage Retreat for Army couples (Chaplain Program). They usually have it at different locations, and they chose Grey Wolf this time. I wasn't gonna sign up but when my wife found out, she pretty much threatened me and told me I better sign up for it. So I guess we'll be there for 3 days later this month. Oh what fun!

Hey. You have probably gone by now, but we went after it first opened. Observations: Really cool concept. Animated figures and interactive game play on all the floors - the kids loved this almost as much as everything else, but the elevators and floors clogged up with kids playing the game. The water was too cold indoors in February. The external temp was around 80, but the kids had to get out with teeth chattering after about an hour. Maybe they have fixed this by now. Very pricey. Would love to go back, but can't afford to. Food was pretty unimpressive considering the prices. Overall, it is a cool experience that the kids will love. The outdoor part for summer was not open yet when we went. Hope this helps!

I guess I messed up the name at first calling it the "Grey" Wolf Lodge. Oops, when I arrived there was when I realized it was the Great Wolf Lodge. LOL
Just an update, for those of you thinking about going, it was freaking awesome. Not only is it a huge hotel and indoor water park, it also acts as a weight loss program for the time you are there. You go up and down the stairs (8 flights) several times chasing after your kids trying to do the Magic Quests with their Harry Potter type wands. And to get on the coolest water slides, you have to climb like 4 or 5 flights of stairs to get to the top to launch. But it is well worth it seeing that big smile on your kid as you go down the slide. They got everything you need at the park, restaurants, bars, hair salons, Starbucks coffee shop, you name it. I recommend this place for anyone looking at going that have not gone yet.
