AAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH! . . . . Sorry guys, had to scream.
I'm on the verge of failing Accounting II again! These frickin' quizes are soooo tricky. I'm almost ready to give up and take the course at a B&M, I'm obviously not grasping the concepts no matter how much I study, do the assignments or take the exam with the book. I've gotten two 85's out of 150. one more and I'm mathematically eliminated. Does anyone have any advice? tips?
PLEASE HELP ME AND MY POCKETBOOK.

1. Have you used up the 10 hours of help/tutoring that come w/ Straighterline courses ?
2. Do you have the textbook they recommend for the course ?
3. On the two test you have taken, what areas are you getting wrong ?

unfortunately the system doesn't tell me which questions I've gotten right. I'm using the book so I feel confident during the testing, which leaves me REALLY frustrated about which areas I should be focusing on.
I'm doing GREAT on quizes, but the exams are tripping me up. I'm not intimidated by testing, I've passed other SL courses already. Maybe this is just my achilles heal.
I have not used my tutoring hours, how does that work? Can i use a tutor during exam? again, i'm not having much trouble with the assignments or quizes, its the exam that's beating me up-side the head.

You can not use the tutoring during exams.
Maybe you should talk to your advisor. (Is Jennifer your advisor
Ask your advisor if there is anyway for you or for them to determine what areas you are getting wrong on the tests.

try the quizzes at this link : Interactive Quiz B or this one
Interactive Quiz A
They have them for all the chapters, you just pick the chapter and the Quiz A or B .
Check them out an see if they are similar to the test questions on the two exams you have already taken.
If they are going over them might be helpful for future chapters.
It also has power point presentations you can down load, flashcards , narrated slides, , Ipod content etc. They can be found on the sitemap at this link http://highered.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/00...temap.html

I hate Straighterline Accounting...
After a while my biggest edge was simply being used to the typos, errors and confusing wording. The questions were still BS, but at least I had a better idea of what they had intended to ask me. I think pure dumb luck factored into my grade a lot as well. Some of the questions might as well have said "Wharble flaggle baggle plugg?"
And no, there is no way they will let you see what you got wrong in my experience. That pissed me off to no end. Good luck...

EXACTLY, I found myself reading a question four or five times and having no idea what their asking. process of elimation doesn't work because there's usually two answers that are the same and wrong, one that's just stupid and the other two are the same and possibly right.
