Hello all!
Does anyone have any recommendations on decent graduate certificates? I have been working on the ASU Learners certificate and have considered the HAU MBA for now before pursuing a specific path of going into further into Molecular Pathology or a similar route. The HAU MBA feels more like a "personal checkbox" degree for me eventually even if I never pursue a different masters degree program. I will also be knocking out my remaining required science courses quicker thanks for UIU and my community college by December 2025. Between my MLS requirements for ASCP being met by the end of the year, I want to focus my primary studies onto graduate certificate program.
However, I am a little concerned I may be "jumping" the gun before enrolling into any proper program even as the HAU MBA. I am not a big fan of UoP so I crossed that off my list. I am also on the fence about any professional educators courses at the graduate level as it seems some schools may not take these as "proper credits."
I had considered some of the courses or certificates at ACE as they are a tad cheaper and I can see if graduate level courses are honestly a good fit for me. They are also cheaper than ASU on some of these certificates to convert the ASU Learners certificate over to graduate level courses. TESU also has some decent graduate certificates that seem I could apply to my career/life like Emergency Management or Geropyschology.
I could register for individual graduate courses but it seems expensive to not to work towards a certificate at least to "test the waters."
Does anyone have a decent recommendations for a RA university that may have certificates related to healthcare (not nursing), business, or leadership they can recommend? My employer will cover certificates for up to $5000. It just has to be able to show "growth." (Basically, I submit the program towards my employer and see if they approve the program.) I can pay the rest of the cost. They did not approve TESU's Graduate Certificate Digital Humanities. The UMPI MAOL seems cheaper but I do not believe I could successfully do the entire program within one or two semesters. At that point, I would be better off enrolled in the HAU MBA if I did an a full masters degree.
At this point, I just want to "test the waters" so to speak to see if I can excel at the graduate level itself.
Thank you!
