Cookderosa's advice is good. You basically create a database and in doing so, you probably learn enough to be minimally proficient in the subject.
Giving up on TEEX for now

I learned enough to know I have zero interest in pursuing any courses in any type of computers ever- so, that's worth something. ![]()
Well I finished them all. Can't really say I did it in a way that helped me retain the information (I did NOT use the cheat site, but I did use "open notes" when doing the exams). So I passed them all. Personally I find at least some of it to be very interesting and I plan to go back to those ones I really wanted to read more thoroughly when I have more time. Now I just need to figure out how to create an ACE transcript. It still won't take my TEEX ID.

You shouldn't need TEEX ID. Click on My Courses then Add New Course and it should work. The course might sit for a day or two before it pops down from Pending to Approved.

Every time I try it tells me the student ID is wrong. I don't want to give it my SSN.

Thanks to everyone who replied to me earlier in this thread, unfortunately I won't be back home until next week the day before TEEX expires.
I hope that we can find out either way if TEEX will continue or not being ACE certified very soon and not be left hanging. Would it be best to monitor the ACE site or would contacting TEEX on the day of or after be the best way to find out??? If anyone happens find out before anyone else then please post it here or start a new thread with the news. Thanks.

I've found checking the ace website to be best.

TEEX just extended them to 6/30/2018. So that gives everyone another month.
