Getting an additional Associates Degree advice please

But since Sophia is, indeed, open book, it might be easier than other possible ethics options. There is no proctoring with Sophia; there is simply biometrics to confirm your identity.

To recap/clarify what needs to be done:

Ethics:
1. TESU may well not care that you are 1 credit under the requirement. Assuming your ethics is from The Institutes, they usually put in an exception. If you have the ASNSM added to your evaluation (rather than just a what-if), this is probably what will happen. Definitely put in the request to have this added ASAP because you are so close to completion!
2. TESU insists that you need an Ethics credit and does not accept Cyber 101 but you manage to somehow get them to accept Cyber Ethics. Good.
3. TESU insists that you need another Ethics credit and they've either accepted Cyber 101 (making you ineligible for the separate Cyber Ethics credit) or they are stubborn and won't accept TEEX at all for some reason. Choose Sophia ethics, the SDC course "Philosophy 103: Ethics - Theory & Practice", or Davar's Business Ethics.

Understanding the Physical World:
Take Sophia's Environmental Science and also Human Biology. Easy.

CS credits:
Sophia's Intro to IT covers 3 of the 5 needed credits. From there:
1. Cyber 101, if accepted whole, will grant you 4 more credits.
2. Cyber 301, if accepted whole, should also grant you 3 more credits.
3. Cyber 201, in whole or in parts, might grant you 3 more CS credits. These are cybersecurity credits, though, and those don't usually count as CS credits.
4. If NONE of the TEEX courses are accepted as CS credits, Davar's Introduction to Computers should satisfy the requirements. Other possibilities, from SDC, include: "Business 109: Intro to Computing", "Computer Science 103: Computer Concepts & Applications", "Business 104: Information Systems and Computer Applications".

So, yes, you definitely NEED Sophia's Environmental Science, Human Biology, and Introduction to IT. You might need Greek Philosophers/Ethics. And the rest depends on what TESU does about TEEX.

Quote:Have things been resolved with the ACE transfer credits?  I've enrolled into Sophia's Environmental Science and see that it's ACE credited, but TESU is not listed as a transfer school.  I was planning on transferring these Sophia credits directly to TESU.  Is that the correct protocol?

TESU does not accept Sophia credits straight from Sophia or Parchment. You need to send them through ACE/Acclaim. Since you are doing these courses now, there should be no issues getting the courses added to your Acclaim profile (the issue with Sophia is only for those of us who completed Sophia courses before November). The process for adding badges should be easy and automatic.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Just one more question - does TESU accept TEEX credits directly from TEEX or only through Accliam?  My ACE transcript from TEEX looks completely different than what's displayed on my TEEX completed courses.  I'm very confused how that happened.
