Geometry and Credit Banking Options
#11
I could be wrong but I don't think that taking a TECEP would allow you to credit bank at TESU. If it did, they wouldn't have the credit banking fees.

That said, the cheapest TECEP is Medical Terminology for $50. LL exams are $50/credit and Medical Terminology is 1 credit. UL exams are $75/credit. All TECEPs are proctored with the live proctor ProctorU (unlike SDC which uses the recorded proctor RPNow). If you fail a TECEP, it doesn't show up on your record.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Can anyone confirm this? I thought I read in the past that taking a TECEP is another option instead of doing the Credit Banking $400 option? I could have confused it though

You have to apply as if you are seeking a degree, then the TECEP enrolls you. At that point you can send any transcripts you like and order your TESU transcript.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

Thank you!

Thank you as well!!

You might want to look into Waubonsee Community College just found by gams007. They have Elementary Geometry as Synch Online class (with regular meetings) or Calculus with Analytic Geometry as an Online class (no meetings).

Another option would be Plane Geometry from Westcott Courses. Once completed, Westcott Courses get added to a Brandman University transcript as if you took the course directly from Brandman.

Hello again,
I just searched for he school and the only Geometry class is MTH075 “Elementary Geometry”.  Aren’t courses listed in the 0 for the course code usually remedial and not transferable college credit?  They don’t offer any other 100 level geometry courses besides that one.

It depends on the school, they use different numbering systems.  Go to their catalog and check to see what numbering system they use - if 0-99 is developmental, then I wouldn't take that course.

Hello everyone,
I just checked on that geometry course that they offer and the state won’t accept it because it’s only “Elementary Geometry”

Besides study, does anyone know of any other community colleges that offer Geometry online? Thanks again everyone
