Haha! I appreciate all the input. I think that I am going to try and find a middle ground. I have been working on some math and science classes through Advancement Courses and I usually look for new learning opportunities in between writing the essays. Nice change of pace. With the quarantine, I have more time to look.
I do think that there should be a place on this or the other forum for long-term certification opportunities and a place for short term online conferences that could be used for learning/networking.

I have also been saying that there should be a place here for college credentials (certificates and certifications and they are not the same). Two of the Community Colleges I have attended even had the new concept of "stackable credentials" that led to a degree.

I like the idea of having areas for short/long term certification opportunities. Not everything useful is worth ACE or NCCRS credit.

Thank you for the information and this format is just fine. When you find something new just post it as useful. I read new posts almost daily and seldom read consolidated posts.
