Free or low cost Six Sigma White/Greenbelt Certification?

Why go through four -- or better yet, any -- white belt courses, when you were planning on going for yellow belt?

That's pretty much what I did as well. I like getting as many "recognized" yet cheap certs as possible.
I searched all the programs on the ISAAC webpage and found a few from MSI and took them...
Some debate that an ASQ program is more recognized than an ISAAC program, but it costs more.

Anyways, good info! For those who are on a budget, you can't go wrong with ISAAC certificates.
And for those who have the cash, you're perfectly welcome to take the ASQ program certs.

I completed the Aveta White Belt this morning. I found it to be very soft. I am almost worried to list it on my resume as if it could become a talking point in an interview where I would just ramble about concepts such as 3.4 defects per million opportunites and motorola developing it in the 1980s. I also find myself a bit concerned of the white belt not being accepted by the entire community. I saw the yellow belt that is free posted in this thread. However, I could not seem to vett it for how the provier 6sigmastudy would be seen by employers. I am looking for a little bit extra on my resume while I wait to start my MBA. Any advice on my concerns?

I would not list a White Belt level as no business that I know uses that low of a level. Its a marketing level for schools. Yellow Belt/Bronze would be the first level to think about listing in the real World.

Honestly a Six Sigma Black Belt that does not require experience or/and an actual documented successful project is a waste. May as well just type it on your resume now and save the $$$ on the "class" as it's about the same value.

The hiring manager is going to question you (if Six Sigma is actually important to the role) and you will have nothing, or worse than nothing.
