Free/cheaper undergaduate on line degree program
#1
Hello,
I'm 42 years old but I want to give a shot and try to get and undergraduate degree in engineer.
I'm looking online for some free/cheap solution but It's hard.
Honestly speaking my finance are modest and I can not afford big tution fees so I'm looking for something affordable.
But I'm looking also for something useful and should be not a waste of time.
Currently I'm living in Italy (I found out some solution like Uninettuno) but I was wondering if there are others alternative.
Any good suggestion?
Thanks.
Luca

Welcome to the board... You may want to do a search for UK Level 3 to 6 diplomas that have OfQual (use providers such as CMI, OTHM, Qualifi) and see what options are available. It's great you're asking questions and getting the ball rolling as a start, but it's much better if you fill in the addendum and template to provide a greater overview of your situation, we can help you more with these extra details: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

Teesside University in the UK has a HNC, HND and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

https://www.tees.ac.uk/sections/onlinele...ourses.cfm

Each level is about 4k pounds. Not sure if it fits your budget.

Can you speak German? Dresdan has a mechanical engineering degree, 100 eu semester fee.

With 30 minutes or 1/2 hour per day I see very difficult to finish any kind of engineer related studies.
Usually, specially in Europe, engineer degrees are hard. Since you are Italian, Spanish should not be so difficult. You could try UNED:https://www.uned.es/universidad/inicio/en/estudios/grados/grado-en-ingenieria-mecanica.html?idContenido=1
They have mechanical engineering. the university is a chaos because different people give the class, write the exam and correct. It is not so expensive and if you can finish you should be good at it without doubt.
If you speak german is also this option: https://www.hfh-fernstudium.de/bachelor-mechatronik but maybe is more expensive.
or you can go to this one : https://www.iu.de/bachelor/mechatronik/
there several more options but you should be realistic and prepare for quite a lot more time than 1/2 an hour per day, specially when you have free time to be able to keep with the papers, study, etc.

I just tough that if you have any professional experience in the field maybe that could be evaluated (specially in german unis). If you decide that way you should ask. Maybe you can save time and money.

If 200 euros per month is affordable for you, you can consider the International University of Applied Sciences.
There are engineering and Industrial Engineering and Management programs.
