Free Spanish course (no credit)
#1
https://iversity.org/en/courses/spanish-...nuary-2016

You can pay 29€ for a "verified certificate", but the course itself is free. It has 20 chapters. Each chapter has a number of videos to watch and/or things to read & do. This is an immersion-type course that dumps you right into learning Castilian Spanish. If you're a complete beginner, you might want to do the first chapter/section at ModernStates (Hola, ¿qué tal?) first.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

No certificates, but there's a pretty cool YouTube channel that teaches via an immersion-like method. They've got several hundred videos, from total beginner to advanced. It's called Dreaming Spanish: https://www.dreamingspanish.com/

I learned another language with this kind of approach, and it works really well.

So, if you want to supplement the iversity program or to take it to the next level, it might be worth adding this to your repertoire.

It's hard to listen to videos when you don' know the words. It can become background noise which you don't learn much at all.

Course Experience:  CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

It can happen but doesn't have to. The folks over at Dreaming Spanish have their own methods for helping students to stay engaged. It's been a while since I've viewed their site and channel, but I do remember them explaining their techniques.

If I have a chance later, I'll try to look that content up for you.

I forgot about this one: https://www.coursera.org/specializations/learn-spanish Free with Coursera Plus. Not sure how valuable it is with the audit version, but it should still be a decent option for students who want to learn Spanish.
