Word of advice for those who want to learn data analysis for their career:
Power BI should be your starting point (along with Excel / Power Pivot / DAX / Power Query).
Tableau is losing market share to Power BI considering a lot of businesses are moving to Office 365.
Power BI Desktop itself is free. Even if you don't have a work email account, you can just close the window that
asks you to login to bypass it. (I click "sign in", then I close the sign in window)
Personally, I learned Power BI by working on a data analysis project and learning tricks as I went along. The online community
is huge to discuss/ask/discover tricks. If you already know DAX and Power Query, you already have a good basis to begin.
Free resources to learn Power BI:
- Download PowerBI desktop: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/desktop/
- Examples: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Data-St...y=postdate
- Edx.org course (free auditing): https://www.edx.org/course/analyzing-and...power-bi-2
- Great Power BI channel on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFp1vaK...ai0vE5VJ0w
