Free Money!
#1
Ok there is no free money sorry for the lie. But many of you know that I have been with the board for sometime and didnt mean no harm.
But I asked a question like two days ago and no one answered.
So to anyone that might know.
TESC evaled my fema and other credits from schools. I have not taken any courses with TESC yet. Im still looking at testing out of some other ones. Anyway my question is this.
Can i now request a transcript from them for other schools? Or is that just an eval and doesnt mean anything?
If i cant request a transcript as of yet what do i have to do in order to do so in the future? Do I have to take a course pass it and then not continue?
My whole thing is that I dont want the associates because I already will have an associates in three more months. What is the sense of having two of them?
One will be in psychology and tesc's would be in Emergency management.
Does anyone else have any thoughts on that as well?

thanks again and sorry no money ! :p

Hey,

I don't know about TESC but unless you officially enroll with TESC I don't think they will formally add your credits from other schools onto their transcript. An eval was just them looking at what you sent them and saying if you want to continue with them this is what they would accept. I know EC will accept your transcripts from CLEP / DSST or other colleges and hold them for 6 months until you enroll then they will apply what is applicable. If you just want to get your FEMA credits on a transcript you would have that through the college that sent them to TESC, sorry can't think of the name! I didn't think TESC was accepting FEMA credit directly. If you are already getting a degree from TESC and you don't want to pursue a second degree with them then any extra credits they applied to your transcript should just show up as extra credits not applied towards degree on your transcript. At least that is how EC does it. I hope this helps.

I don't know if it would be possible to get transcripts from TESC now. Someone else would have a better idea about that.

I hope you don't need to do this (my idea) because it is my understanding that it can be expensive and is NOT a good idea if you are planning to finish your degree. Is something like a credit bank what you need to use for now to have a transcript? (Like I said, I hope not, but maybe you are an exception.)

If you do not have a student number to look up a un-official transcript, I doubt you will be able to get a transcript.
