This course would be, I guess, the
basic intro to the program you need to become a Personal Support Worker, here in Ontario, where I live. Here's a page on the duties of a Personal Support Worker in Ontario.

I believe the
full PSW program (not this free intro) can be covered in about 28 weeks full time, twice that part-time. I didn't check cost. It is an important role. Here, unfortunately, it is not highly paid. (See below). This free intro doesn't look valid for any academic credit outside the Province, and
definitely not outside of Canada. In fact, you have to be an adult learner - (Ontario High School) and be within 4 credits of graduation, to be admitted. (HS - 4 credits = 4 courses) For Ontario adult learners who qualify, this free course is worth ONE course worth of credit for high school AND one credit (course) of advance credit for college.
Here is some info on Ontario PSW Salaries. PSW pay starts at $14/hr (Provincial Minimum Wage) and goes as high as $23 for the 7% of PSWs who are employed in Hospitals. The median is $16.50/hr.

Those are
Canadian dollars, so I'm not expecting a mass influx of applicants from the US.
