I was doing some updating last night, and decided to take a look at Strayer U and see what was up. Lo and behold, they had a LOT of exams back. Still $20 a pop, through ProctorU.

While I still can't figure out if you have to be a student there to get credit for these, it's worth posting in case someone needs something here that they can't find elsewhere (there are a bunch of interesting exams). Someone with more time and patience than me could probably find out what's going on there.

Nice find!
I would be curious too, about needing to be a student or not at Strayer, to take those exams. I like the price tag! Hopefully someone will post more info.

Excellent, thanks for doing that. I kind of figured that's what it would be like. Unfortunately, their courses are $1700 or so, so unless you need an exam REALLY badly, or your employer will pay for the course and then you can pile on exams during that term, it's probably not worth it for most people.

"A student who has been admitted to the University may elect to audit a class for no academic credit. A student may not change his/her status in a class from credit to audit or from audit to credit after mid-term. A student who is auditing a class is required to take an active part in the class but is excluded from examination requirements. A class taken for audit may be repeated for credit in another quarter. Students auditing courses are subject to all regular tuition and fees. Federal student aid, military tuition assistance, and veteran’s educational benefits cannot be used to cover tuition and fees for an audited course. Students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program may audit NUR courses upon approval by the School Dean."

Thanks for the details. $20 X 80+ exams = 260+ credits at under $2k. If there is a loophole with enrollment in a course and max out opportunities in exam credits, there is an excellent win to be had for a determined student.
Look forward to hearing some great success stories from the ones that crack the code
