OK! Some great news! I now have enough credits for graduation... provided I pass Business Law tomorrow!
They have over turned the class that was classified as LAW to CIS-299. Very nice! The other one classified as MAN I haven't gotten a response on just yet.
Here's the response:
Bruce, Thank you for the additional information with regards to the TEEX0250 (Cyber Security for EVERYONE) course reviewed by ACE.
I have changed the equiv to CIS-299 because of the included topics of cleaning/securing corrupted systems, protecting personal data and securing simple computer networks.
The changes will be reflected in your evaluation.
thank you, Christine

That's great. You're in a better position to get courses re-evaluated since you're enrolled. They answered my email and said that Business Professionals was still MAN-299 and IT Professionals was still CIS-344. Business Professionals should definitely be CIS-344 and IT Professionals should be something else.

I'm completing my BSBA General Management at TESC and need Gen Ed. help. Are TEEX courses for the Free elective's area only or can I use them in my General Education Elective area as Natural Science? If so, would it be possible to complete both Cyber Security for Everyone TEEX-0250 (CIS-299 2cr.) and Cyber Security for IT Professionals (CIS-344 2cr.) and receive 4 total credits for my GEN Ed. area?

Just received word from advising that none of the tracks mentioned would satisfy a natural science requirement in the Gen Ed area.

TESC received all 3 of my TEEX on 3/1 and still haven't updated my evaluation yet. Based on Brucet3 posts I would guess that 2 are CIS and 1 will be MAN. I might try and fight the MAN becuase then I am 1 cr shy in Computers. We'll see, but since they come over as CIS and MAN I would think that they wouldn't count toward Natural Science.

The adviser stated some CIS courses are Business and the others are Natural Science. I explained the tracks are transcribed as CIS and MAN, respectively, but was then told none would apply as natural science, GEN Ed or to my BSBA Management degree plan.
p.s. She added, "ACE Courses are rarely approved anymore due to the inconsistency students receive with the expiration of credit." . . .shall we also discuss student service inconsistencies also . . . .lol
