Free 3 units course! St Louis Community College
#1
I came across this.  Hope it helps someone.  St. Louis Community is picking up the tab for one 3 unit course.  You need to be a new student (first-time or transfer).  You can be out of state.  They have named this program "Take One On Us".  Hope this pans out and can help someone.

For out of state students it is a discount but not free:

"STLCC will provide a scholarship for out-of-district students, out-of-state students and international students in the amount of the in-district rate of $113.50 per credit hour. STLCC will provide a scholarship of up to three credit hours for summer 2020."

Also it says you have to be a degree seeking student with them not a visiting student.

Still a good find and might help some people out.

So for me even with the discount, it would be over $100/cr. My local CC charges less than $100/cr so it would be easier and cheaper going there and not have the hassle/

Well, hopefully it can help someone.  My in state community college is over $150 a unit.  So, this could be a help.  Looks like out of state tuition is $221.50.  So the scholarship brings the unit cost to $108.

there was a further clause. I updated the post. People in the states of Midwest exchange will also qualify for the in-state cost.
