For almost ten years, she ordered things like iPads and other computer parts with Yale money. These things were then shipped to resellers and she pocketed the sales proceeds.

How on earth does no one notice? 7 years! It took 7 years for someone to notice. Their system of checks and balances needs some serious work.

Agreed. That's a ridiculous amount of time for nobody to notice. It's around $400k/month.

That greed just is astonishing... I mean, she's already got a great career, can probably get free tuition for her dependents or family members, whatever other benefits or perks that is part of her job. Sometimes people make the worst choices in life because of that greed, they fall prey to their own temptations of having everything "better".
