For those who aren't sure about online classes..
#1
I am fairly new to the forums and I am not the greatest test taker due to test anxiety.. so I was very nervous if study.com was the right route for me or if I could successfully finish my courses online.. I won the guardian scholarship a few weeks ago and started my journey to complete the personal finance course. I just want to say the videos are great and the quizzes were very helpful in retaining what I was learning. I passed my final last night and I feel so good about deciding to take classes and finish my Degree. If you are new to these forums do not feel discouraged about going this route and don't delay your degree.. I waited a few years to do this due to debating if it was worth the cost and in fear of how good of a route this would be. I have to tell you in a few weeks time I have completed Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Statistics, Personal Finance, and Insurance Ethics. I plan on completing my last 4 courses this month then starting the capstone.. I have to tell you if you are debating if this is a good route to go it is!! Thank you Kay V and the other people who made me my degree plan and laid out the options for TESU and Excelsior. If it weren't for your words of encouragement I might still be lurking the forums Smile

Thank you! It really is I gave up on my degree a few years ago kind of was in limbo of how to afford to complete it.. I ended up taking classes through a junior college so I could earn Preschool Teaching Credential but my dream is Elementary or High School so I was faced with the hard decision on how I could afford to finish my degree. I ended up back on here lurking and decided to reach out to someone.. Best decision I have ever made.
