I'm back....
#1
Hi -

I'm back after a year break. I had completed my Excelsior BS-Liberal Studies Feb 2010. I then tried my hand at a two Vesi grad. courses in Education and toyed with the idea of getting a Masters in Liberal Arts or an MBA but I never found a program that felt right to me.

I finally decided to go for a second bachelors in Accounting- CPA track through Excelsior and enrolled today. Once I get my evaluation I will start testing out the courses I am able to.

It is good to be back and I hope to be contributing to the conversations again.

Hey welcome back! How did the Vesi courses go when you took them? I have friend that is thinking about it. What school did you use to get credit for them? Good to see you back.

Thank you all for the welcome back.

Allison, I really enjoyed the VESI courses they are a definite bargain and I would recommend them to anyone looking for self paced graduate education credits.
I had mine transcribed through Morningside College. Current cost through Morningside college is $190 for a 2 credit course and $230 for a 3 credit course and they do not require a textbook. Every thing you need to pass the tests is supplied in the course work. You can take the vesi courses either online or they can send you a CD-rom course.

The VESI courses through Morningside really are a bargain, in fact I would even recommend them for people at the undergrad level who are looking for self paced courses. My guess is they would transfer into Excelsior in the applied professional category but that is just a guess.
