There are two teacher training courses that have been evaluated for credit by PONSI, and are thus eligible for direct transfer to any of the big three.
There is the IDELT:
Bridge-Linguatec, which is worth 3 to 6 graduate level credits depending on which course you choose. It is in Denver, Colorado.
As well as CELTA:
St. Giles International, which is worth 6 credits and located in San Francisco, California.
Unfortunately, the fact that this CELTA course has been approved by PONSI does not benefit any other CELTA course even though they are all required by Cambridge to meet the same standard.

All I could find was a course at the National Cryptologic School.

CELTA also has a course in Houston, Texas. I'm planning on taking it after I earn my B.A.
Check out this link:

There are more locations, but only a few in the states:
Cambridge ESOL: Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA)
As a side note, the University of Memphis offers an TESL certificate program (

I think I found what you were talking about.
Lado Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate Program
ACE-Reviewed Training Courses
LADO Enterprises, Inc. - Teach English
They mention that they are recommended for 13.5 CEUs. I'm not sure what that means in terms of credit hours.
