The Kaplan PLA course might count as intellectual and practical skills if it's considered the equivalent of TESC's courses. If it's not counted as gen ed, then it will be a free elective that you have no room for.
Do you know if you can fulfill General Education Electives with an ALEKS course? Something like College Algebra or Intermediate Algebra (whatever's easier)? After doing some more research I'm leaning towards pursuing the track that KayV laid out above for the BA in Social Science. It seems to make the most sense. I just want to make sure there are no duplicates or anything before moving forward.

Yes, you can use any of the ACE-approved ALEKS courses for gen ed except for Beginning Algebra. That's not accepted at all. All of the statistics courses duplicate, College Algebra and College Algebra with Trig duplicate, and Trigonometry and Precalculus duplicate.

Quick update - I have completed all required courses and I will be graduating from TESU in December. This forum was an enormous help to finally acquiring my degree. I can't thank enough all those who participate in this forum, helping complete strangers achieve what can seem like an impossible goal. Thank you!
