I took American Lit. for my first clep, and I had to score a 60 or higher for my school. I scored a 61. Breath now...it's over. BTW...69 is a strong score...you should be a pro at Intro to Sociology.

Doing the practice tests for REA, Petersons, Free-clep-prep, and the official college board helped the most. I read through the REA book, then took the practice tests, reviewing my answers from each one and writing down terms that were new to me. Then I read through the REA book maybe 2 more times, and continuously studied the material I wrote down from reviewing my practice tests. Actually putting effort to LEARN not MEMORIZE concepts helped a lot!

That is a great score. I knew you good do it. The hardest part is over, that first one is always the hardest because you don't know what to expect. :coolgleam:

asantamaria5 Wrote:I got a 69 on the sociology clep today!! Thanks everyone for your input, it really helped! Excellent! Congratulations!! For those that were nervous about my prediction, my prediction had nothing to do with asantamaria. I don't know him/her at all, my prediction was based on the reliability and validity of REA as a predictor of score. If asantamaria took those practice tests honestly, used them only 1 time, and reported accurately, then there was no reason to doubt his/her readiness. But just to tell someone they're ready feels like witchcraft to me- there was an actual reason behind my encouragement. Numbers are numbers. |
