He/she is going to get an awesome score, but "placing our bets" is going to make him/her feel stressed to perform a certain way, which always makes people do worse than they could do.

I bet zero that way there's no stress because they can only do better than what I predict

Like it! Nice philosophy, bluebooger.

It depends on the OP's outlook. Yes, the bet could demoralize some but inspire others.
I'm one to challenge things and a way I positively use what could otherwise be a detrimental personality trait (as it was when I was younger) is to say "oh, yeah - you think I'm gonna get a 67...I'll show you...I'm gonna get over 70!" And then I would get over 70 and walk around crowing about it, like anyone else cared but me.

So I just took my last REA practice test and scored an 89%! Even though my score is high, I'm still quite nervous for my test tomorrow (because I'm scared that the REA is just a lot easier than the normal thing).
Any last advice anyone?! I take it at 9:00am tomorrow!

Don't be nervous! 89% is awesome, especially on REA. And REA is NEVER easier than the real thing. They do a phenomenal job of making sure that you can get a great passing score. Get a good night's rest tonight, and don't drink coffee in the morning, no matter how tempting. It'll make you more nervous. If you need some caffeine super bad, though, I'd say to go with green tea. If you have it, add some lemon juice. Lemon juice stimulates brain function. I used to have this ritual where I would drink green tea and eat a bowl of oatmeal before every test. A bit weird, I know, but that's what I did. I finally stopped because I decided that it was getting to be like a superstition, which would be ridiculous. And plus, oatmeal is just loaded with carbs.... Our separation was for the best. LOL I would say "good luck," but I don't believe in luck (maybe you guessed?), so I'll say "way to go on some great studying! God bless on your test tomorrow. I can't wait to hear how it goes!" Jade
