Feeling frustrated with TESU

I'm pretty sure that if you graduate with an associate degree while there's still a bachelor degree "in the works" they're not supposed to make you inactive.

This is not true.  As long as you have an active degree plan going, even another AA/AS or a certificate, in addition to a BA/BS, then you don't become inactive.  Lots of people on here have done this.

Did the OP ever call TESU to see what is going on with their program? I don't see that that OP has returned. Sad

A statement...with no context.   Huh
Not helpful.

Every single school has its pitfalls. TESU has some strange policies but they're also the most open about their requirements compared to COSC. COSC is lower in cost... buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut you need those pesky RA credits now. Excelsior has a good reputation and has some good degrees but they don't let you transfer in as many alternate credits for some of them and the same class may transfer in as two different classes for two different people. CSU Global makes you write a paper every week; great for students who hate exams but bad for everyone else. WGU only serves students in the US (mainly because they CALL you every week).

"Horrible" means nothing if the statement isn't clarified. Horrible means different things to different people.

Couldn't agree more- at the same time the expectations of some non-traditional learners never ceases to amaze me-
No institution is perfect, but a lot of the complaints I've seen on this message board are unwarranted or boil down to not understanding what it means to be a student. Non-traditional schools do try to work with their students life experiences awarding credit where possible and minimize your out of pocket, but just because they don't immediately drop what they're doing, only accept 87 out of 90 credits or charges an administrative processing fee for inactivity doesn't make them horrible or any other (insert favorite adjective) you'll see on these boards. Having previously attended a large university where advising was done based on your last name/day of the week, the TESU experience with it's occasional juggling act is still like having a personal chauffeur, even if I do have wait a few extra days or occasionally arm wrestle.
