Feedback Needed on TESC BSBa Substitute Courses, thank you for reviewing :)
#1
Hi Everyone,
I need your feedback on TESC BSBA's courses substitution. I am trying to complete all the credits for BSBA without taking any TESC classes. I am not able to figure out the substitute courses for the Business in Society or International Management, Business Policy and if Accounting II can be considered under BSBA GM. Please review the below structure and provide your feedback on the substitute courses. ( I have also attached a word file which contains the below structure)
Thank you

Review the degree plan below. TESC considers Accounting II to be Managerial Accounting. Straighterline's Principles of Managerial Accounting is transcribed as Cost Accounting by TESC. The only things I think I need to add to my plan are the financial and managerial accounting TECEPs.

I recommend a search of this forum to confirm what I'm saying, but I think that the DSST Bus. Ethics test can be supstituted for the Bus.in Society requirement. I think that there's also a Org. Beh. DSST. Best suggestion? Go to TESC's web site. If I recall correctly, they have a place where they show which test(s) can be used for which requirement. Good luck with your testing! Here's a link to course equivalents done some time ago. Make sure that it is still acceptable, AND be aware that with the publication of new requirements in July for the universities, things change. What's true today, may not be true for tomorrow.

Why not take the Analysing and Interpreting Lit CLEP for your Free Electives, if you haven't used them for your Hum/Gen Ed requirements already? To put it gently, it's widely regarded as the "softest" CLEP there is and it's worth 6 credits.

I did Org Behavior through Straighterline. As someone else said, there is a DSST that covers Business in Society, and for Business Policy you will have to do a TECEP. Sanantone is correct about the Straighterline accounting courses. I would confirm that Business Math counts as a business elective before taking the course. I know for Business Ethics they didn't want to count it towards the electives at first and I had to contest it.

Or FEMAs which are free. I couldn't tell if the OP had already taken those tests or not.

Do business policy through PennFoster. It's called Strategic Business Management there and it's Ace approved. There's no proctored final for it and you can complete it in about 6 hours if you hustle. It'll cost you about $218.
