Hello fellow students,
Decided to finally do a degree after 30+ years and have decided on Thomas Edison's BSc in Organizational Leadership.
Now that I have sorted which degree I want to do, I now need to find the books.
Heads-up: I live in Switzerland so joining a US library is out of the question, but any virtual library, amazon etc.,
would be perfect.
Any ideas folks?

There's no one answer for textbooks. No doubt they will all be available on Amazon, but you may well find cheaper sources. I had to search for each book individually to find the best deals. Some were from Amazon, some from TESU's online bookstore, my Database Systems book was on eBay because it was being retired by a university library. I got it for $10 including shipping. Best I could tell by the binding it had never been cracked open except to stamp the name of the library in the front. Being in Switzerland, your mileage may vary. I got similar deals on one or two others. Luckily most of my TESU courses didn't require the latest editions, which helps a LOT.

Hello Celine,
That BSOL is a great degree, you might want to also consider the BSBA HR/OM as well.
The reason is because you can test out of it easier since you're in Switzerland.
Try to use as many ACE recommended for credit courses as possible (such as Saylor/Shmoop/Straighterline/Study.com)
Here's the link:
BSBA in Human Resources Management/Organizational Management Program
Hope this helps, it's easier to find the courses required for transfer compared to the BSOL.

I would agree that the BSBA would be a much easier degree to complete if you're not here in the US - all of the courses/exams can be done online and inexpensively, vs. the BSOL. I don't even know where you could find most of those courses at all, let alone inexpensively. So you'd be stuck doing $1500 courses at TESU, in addition to the $1500 capstone/practicum. It will be a much more expensive degree (by MANY thousands of dollars).
If you REALLY want that degree instead of a BSBA, I would probably suggest Patten, or one of the other competency-based programs. That will be a much cheaper route.
