Microsoft Visual Studio. I don't see one that specifically names it that. These four are the closest to it:
Agents for Visual Studio (Test Agent)
Agents for Visual Studio (Test Controller)
Visual Studio Code
Visual Studio Community

Oh! No wonder you're confused.
Yeah.
Are there screenshots? You either want Community or Code, depending on what the examples show. See the sections of screenshots here: https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/free-...er-offers/ Note that the appearance can be changed up quite a bit for both (AFAIK), so the match might not be perfect even if you do have example screenshots.
I would guess that you're supposed to download Code, but it is entirely possible that you'll need to download Community. They're close to being identical in function; for an entry-level type class like you're in, they're essentially interchangeable. I would probably download Code. Then, if the instructions don't make sense with that program, download Community.

IIRC, Visual Studio used to be a somewhat expensive thing way back in the yonder days of the internet. At some point, it was acquired by Microsoft. So it became Microsoft Visual Studio. Then they made a free version, called Visual Studio Code. A lot of people just call it Visual Studio, though, for whatever reason, even though MS Visual Studio is a thing. I think MS Visual Studio Community is an even newer thing. I'm not sure that it existed last year, but I could be wrong about that.
And I think that a lot of people still tend to call them all just "Visual Studio" even though that's technically wrong.

I took Programming for Managers but the professor has changed a few times and the project is entirely different. As far as adding another course, make sure you follow Jessica's instructions on the subject of your email. She adds classes when she's on vacation usually. You can also email Cody and see if he can help.

Yeah I've found that Jessica has been pretty good about checking her emails even when she's on vacation and make the subject line very simple with "Ready for another course". I figured she might've been busy yesterday but I didn't want to pester her while she's on vacay. She comes back tomorrow so I won't even stress on it. I always cc Cody on my emails to keep him informed.

She sent directions last term with a specific subject heading she wants us to use when adding a class.

You're right. I just searched the emails and I should have said " Please add another course".......maybe I'll wait till tomorrow for when she's back on vacation to reword my subject line.

I don't know if it makes a huge difference when she's on vacation or not. I wish there was a way to add classes on our own or know in advance when she'll be out.

It would be such a time saver if once you've completed a course, you'll automatically get another one of your required courses. It's so silly the way you have to ask for another course that you obviously need. It's so Oliver Twist lol
