I struggle with algebra, but it's a prerequisite for me so I decided to give it a go. I have take 3 exams of the 5...so I have one regular exam and the final. I have gotten 2 65%s and a 90%. My accumulative is only at 27.5%. I am pretty sure I will fail, so my question is...If I pay to take the class again will the questions be the same, or are they random each time?

Ok, I have a 36.25% and just the final to take. It seems like there is no point...can I just retake the class or do I still have to take the final even though there is no way I'll get a 70% accumulative?

Talk to a straighterline advisor. Also study a bit more. If you are considering one of the BIG 3 consider doing aleks instead.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'm starting nursing school at Rasmussen in January. I was supposed to start in October, but it's so expensive I decided to put it off 3 months to try to CLEP/Straighterline some classes. I've done Sociology, Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Religion, Anthropology, Biology...and working to finish English and algebra.

I agree on the Aleks. I tried Straighterrine and didn't like it.

I signed up with aleks. It had me do a test with 31 questions. It never said what my score was though or what I got right and wrong. When the test was done it took me to my pie.

Calculate your percentage using the pie or just look at the master account. Study and get good at algebra.... it is vital in healthcare.

I'd say play around on ALEKS and try to find where your percentage is listed. If I remember correctly it's in one of the tabs at the top of the page.

You could also check it via the master account.
