OUCH!!! I'm sorry to hear that. If your college takes freshman comp you may be in luck, otherwise you are S.O.L. unless maybe they take tech writing, no?

Will the school you are attending accept English Comp 1 (Eng 101) from Straighterline on a FHSU transcript ?

TESC..........I think they only take Eng. Comp, but I am going to find out about SL or just wait and take it again......thanks for the shoulders

I soughta expected to fail...........because my essay was nothing, my testing center would not allow or give scratch paper. I call CLEP the day after the exam and was going to file an official complain , but decided against it, because I did not want to mess with their status. However, I was also hoping that I got lucky with the other section........... I am 10 out of 11 with another 10 or so to go......so bring on the next one is my approach.

I have not seen any information on Freshman Comp in the past...is this something fairly new? I still need to take the English Comp for my degree, but have been putting it off. Now I just want to know which CLEP is easier?

I've heard Freshman Comp is easier...and actually, REA only offers a guide for the Freshman Comp, not English Comp (although I've heard both exams are similar.) I started a thread a while back, if it helps you any: http://www.degreeforum.net/general-educa...p+Freshman
