Failed CLEP Principles of Marketing. Recommend a Textbook please.
#1
I have failed the CLEP principles of marketing by 10 points. Please recommend me a textbook related to the syllabus. I think the modernstates is not enough and doesn't cover everything.

Find a Peterson's guide, Quizlet, and also you could use Instantcert as often people have study guides at Instantcert for you to use.

You have to wait 90 days before a retake, then you can set up an online proctored exam.

I have used Instantcert and Peterson's practice quizzes. Both offer practice quiz and no study guide.

We found it helpful to do more than modern states to be ready for the exams. Usually it meant more practice exams. But doing just MS videos and questions was not enough for us either. Generally speaking....

Check your local library to see if you have access to Peterson's practice quizzes online. some libraries offer that through cengage/gale options.

another publisher is REA. https://store.rea.com/073861095x.html or find it used from your favorite used online source.
you can get printed book (or maybe library has it) with study guide, or just the practice exams online https://store.rea.com/0738683051.html

I didn't do that specific clep, but also found InstantCert flashcards helpful for some of the cleps.
TESU: BALS June 2021 (comm college, clep, sdc sophia coopersmith, SOS110, and capstone)

Free CLEP Prep has a good reputation in general: http://www.free-clep-prep.com/Principles...-CLEP.html Also, OnlineDegree.com has a marketing course that should align with the CLEP. It's free to take, they only charge you if you take the exam.

For the retake, I would strongly recommend against using the home proctoring if at all possible.

Onlinedegree.com is for US citizen's or PR, I suggest other ACE options instead of NCCRS. Saylor might be your ticket (yes, even though their system has flaws, that course is one of the "easier" ones and better made, and for $25 bucks to boot)
Study.com Offer https://bit.ly/3ObjnoU

If someone is taking a CLEP, it's pretty safe to assume that they're in the US. Also, I didn't mean to suggest OnlineDegree as an exam but only as another study resource.

The Marketing one is hard. Also, my 3 kids did not think anything from MS actually prepared them well for the CLEP. The only purpose in doing MS was to get the voucher. So they only watched the videos and did the practice questions a few times. MS will pay for a second exam just so you know. There is a time limit on how soon it can be taken though.

The best books are the Rea books, but they are available online for free!! They have 3 sample tests that you really should know well for any CLEP, but especially the Marketing. LINK REMOVED Even after the exam, one of my kids wasn't sure they passed, but they actually did very well. Just FYI Management and Marketing work hand in hand with a lot of very similar material. If you take one, I would suggest taking the next one shortly after.

Have you tried the study guide in the CLEP feedback section? That was my main study source and it really served me well. Have you taken the principles of management CLEP because there is a lot of cross-over info.

If you are able I would recommend taking other business-related CLEPS and DSST exams while you wait to retake the Marketing CLEP.
