I failed english w/essay, but passed 30 other credits. Don't give up. You do need to check out the specific exam forum and take the advice others give you there. Use a few alternate study guides in addition to IC cards. Sometimes like in US History I and II, something as simple as Clift's Quick Read and IC cards is enough. That was all I used.
Sometimes you need a few sources, but not all that much from each source. Check out some sites on the internet like Wikipedia. Don't give up, your score was too close to give up. Next time you will do better. No it it not a cake walk, but sure beats sitting in a classroom for three to five months. I accumulated those 30 credits in less than six weeks, plus took two courses at the same time. It can be done. Like I've said many times and I'm not the brightest blub on the block. Pardon my cliche'.
Best of luck on your next test. Just don't give up. The $20.00 I spent on IC has saved me hundreds in college tuition.
