CSU Global CBEs Grading

Before I fork out the $250, can someone please tell me if CSU Global's CBEs come with a letter grade ?

Or are they Pass/Fail ?

I contacted CSU Global about this same question a few months back, here is the response I received (emphasis my own):

Hi [jsd],

You are able to take a CBE with us, however, if you are planning on transferring this class elsewhere, I would highly recommend checking with the institution you are planning on attending to see if they will accept them as transfer credit.

The cost to apply to the university is $25 and is the same for degree-seeking and non-degree seeking students. The cost of the CBE is $250.

As for the CBEs they do not show as a letter grade – they will show up almost as a transfer credit – you will not receive a pass or fail.

Thanks, that's cool. I read in previous threads, people posted about asking the advisor to waive the application fee. Now that's no longer needed. I hope they don't remove the code, or have it expire.
