I was signed up for multiple courses, completed project management and was working on another. I requested ACE credit and after 5 days of not having it approved, I used the chat link on the site and spoke to a rep who reminded me of the rules. I explained that the coupon code was applied automatically to everything in the basket. He approved the first credit and cleared out all the other classes, except for the one I was part way through.
First class free
second class $50 off
Still a great deal, and probably still a great way for them to drum up business. I know there are cheaper options out there but a couple of their classes I haven't found elsewhere.

I think I'm going to keep my son enrolled, whether or not I opt to get him the add'l credit will probably just depend on how it fits into our school and if I feel like spending the money, but now that he's into the class, I kinda like the format.

Removed: Erroneous information.
Looks like EllisGrant cleared up the whole issue of being able to get credit for more than one class. In any case, good resource. And good to know that I can have the other (non-free) courses removed.

Thanks for this clarification! I was still able to sign up for College Algebra today...

I had created a previous account for myself with the "try free" option. When I wanted to switch over to this actual free promo, it wouldn't let me no matter how hard I tried to finagle it. Finally, I just went and clicked on the link (from this forum), created a new account, and it let me join today. So frustrating, but the free PM credits won't be!
So far I like it better than Saylor, which is a confusing mess to try to work through! The look is clean, and the process is interesting (if you already know the answers, you can just blow through the "challenge". If you don't, you can switch over to video tutorials to help guide you through the question). If this was something I already knew, I could see myself blazing through the course. Alas, I know nothing about project management, so I guess I get to learn some new things next month!

I really liked the whole layout of Sophia. It made everything so much easier. I also like that the final ID Milestone comes directly from the previous milestones. I copied and pasted the milestones when I took them and used them to study for the final one. Along with that and the page of notes you are allowed to use, painless and quick! The fact that the class was free was a bonus, but I would seriously consider them even if paying.

we (my 10th grader and I) are on track. He's doing 1 unit per week which fits in well to his homeschool schedule. He invests about 45-60 minutes daily. On Monday he watches the videos (takes a LONG time) but then on Tue-Wed-Thu he completes 1 challenge. Those are quick, and you can look up the answers if you need to. It's frustrating when the fill in the blank questions come up, because their computer can't always recognize the answer. (corporate vs corporation) Finally on Friday he takes the Milestone. Though I didn't realize it, apparently there is a practice milestone you can take and have OPEN during the exam? His "feedback" message from Sophia told him to do this next time. (that's later today, he's going to try it).
One thing I REALLY love is the meter that keeps track of your overall grade as you go. Major visual aid, very helpful.

I'm having the same issue with the "fill in the blank" questions which is a little frustrating at times. I just finished the 2nd PM milestone and am cruising along with an 88%! Overall I like the layout and the challenge of the course. I've been watching all of the videos and taking notes on them as I go. I really wish there was the CC option with Project Management...
