Have any of you ever transferred graduate level credit into an undergraduate degree at TESC? If so, was it classified as upper level? I mean, it stands to reason...but you never can tell. Thanks!

If its a legit grad course it should be a 500 level. So yes it should be a upper level.

I've answered my own question- they just emailed me back: Hi Jennifer, Once you applied for your second degree and have sent your transcripts, we will do an evaluation for you. Graduate credits would be evaluated as upper level. We can accept up to 30 graduate credits toward the Bachelor's degree. I hope this helps. Regards,

Can I take a few graduate courses and have them apply to both undergraduate and graduate programs? Will they only apply to one degree?

TESC caps grad credit in an undergrad degree at 30, BUT the kicker is that the grad school you choose MUST BE WILLING to allow you to double dip. Check the handbook and call/email them first. I've read plenty of schools that forbid this. In my case, I'm using my first degree as my undergrad requirement, they'll never know I double dipped on the second degree.

They wrongly counted my graduate level computer science class as 200 level. (No, TESC, graduate Distributed Computing with Java does not equate to your "Intro to Java Programming" class.) But I'm pretty confident they'll fix this when I contact them about it.

I have some grad credit that I'll back-fill, and add in the premeds I took since graduating TESC the first time. I don't have enough of any one thing to work out a major (that, and that I couldn't stand the thought of another lab in ANYTHING blaghhhh) but I've had my eye on a few bio classes through Harvard Extension for a lonnnnggg time now. Now that I know for sure that I can use them, I'm pretty sure I'll rock those out this year. I just don't know about the $$$. This would totally be an indulgence degree- nothing more. I just hate having 20 credits sitting unused. banghead
