I'm a student at UMUC ( University of Maryland, University College ) using dsst's to get ahead*. I'm curious to hear about the experiences others have had with UMUC: before, during, or after graduation. In particular I'd like to hear from alumni that have moved on to graduate school or have experienced an impact to their career from their school experience/affiliation.
Extension schools tend to get a bit of a bad rap so I'm just curious.
What's the view of the 'big 3' advocates on this online school variation? Thoughts, questions, comments?
Thanks!
* UMUC allows up to 60 credit hours of "non-traditional credit", but they do require 30 credit hours for "residency" to be completed at the school.
