Express delivery of grades
#1
My last 3 courses will be going out this week.  Two are from study.com and one from StraighterLine.  I have already sent a message to study.com one course explaining the situation and asking them to put a rush on grading.  I cannot determine what express options they offer for sending grades to charter oaks state college.  Anyone have any experience with this?  Grades are due Monday 11-30-20.  Thanks in advance.

I've never had to deal with "express" when it comes to grades. When did you take the exam? The exams are usually graded in 3-5 business days, the papers are often returned with a grade within 2 or 3 days. Once you have a grade, you request a transcript and it gets sent out within about 24 hours.

What do you mean by grades are due on 11/30/20? Is this the cut off date for you to submit courses to COSC? Are these courses in Your Acclaim account? If yes, they will be sent electronically which is really quick - only a few days. If they have to be mailed, then it will take much longer especially with the holiday in there.

Finished test over this past weekend but study.com has been averaging two weeks for grading, lately. Charter oak Registrar is working from and go into the office a couple times a week to process mail.

What is an acclaim account?  COSC knew to expect these courses when I filled out my graduation paperwork.

Acclaim is how you transcript ACE courses now. Study.com sends transcripts directly to colleges so I don't think you need to worry about this. Unless COSC says you need to have the courses on an ACE transcript.

But that is the thing.  Study.com has been something different since COVID.  They have been going out by mail.  And COSC is working from home.

I don't know what you're talking about. I'm confused. SDC transcripts go out by EMAIL. Not by paper mail. I don't see any way to get SDC to send out a paper transcript.

I wish that I can screenshot my email and correspondence.  This has not been the case lately.  They have been going out by mail.

You could try creating an Acclaim account and sending your credits to COSC that way, then. At worst, it does nothing. At best, COSC definitely has your credits.
