Mog538 and smf6824,
I am so happy for your progress! Way to go!!!:hurray:
What are your topics about and who are your mentors? And the main thing is what was the methodology for your research?
My capstone writing is still far away and I have no idea what I can write computer science related. I purchased a book recommended for capstone and see that capstone requires a chapter on methodology. I do not understand what the methodology can be if I will not conduct a survey, interview, test, observation or work with documents? I cannot write that I logged online , found scientific articles and wrote research based on findings - it will be literary review, wouldn't it? I found three TESC capstones : one used a survey ( as if conducted online
), the other was based on interviews with prisoners asking why they started to use drugs, and the third one was historical research that used as primary sources biography and some governmental documents. I know I cannot do work related survey or experiments for the capstone since I am not working, so my only option is to write something history related? Did somebody else have the same problem? Any insights?

My Capstone is for my BSAST degree, so it is Current Trends and Technologies aka APS 401. My course literally consists of nothing but writing, either writing one of the 4 term papers or writing a discussion forum and the subsequent comments. In regards to my research methodology, since the term papers are on technologies with in my field I already know where to look for sources. In regards to the discussion forums (Which are like mini research papers), I google the subject, find articles from credible sources, read them, write my paper, and make sure to cite my work. I am sure your capstone will be different from mine and I am not sure what suggestions to give you, all I know is that I am so glad to be in this course and to know I am almost finished.

Like smf6824, I am not sure if any of my advice will be of use as my degree is liberal studies and my capstone is on nutrition. However, my methodology was essentially a meta study reading papers and books related to my topics and collating evidence that was relevant. No surveys or statistics here and I got 100% for my methodology chapter. (I am taking the guided study course so all of my marks are from my chapters - no discussions required here).

I love it!!! After reading the chapter about methodology in the recommended book
Writing the Winning Thesis and Dissertation I didn't think that "meta study reading papers and books related to my topics" was a choice. It sure gives me hope!

Great job!
I know the feeling. I am in my capstone as well. I completed my final test today and am about ready to submit my final paper.
