What residency requirements? I would assume so - TECEPS count towards Thomas Edison residency requirements for those programs that have them, that is.

I'm not sure what you mean. Excelsior doesn't have residency requirements. The only course you need to take from them is the capstone requirement, everything else can be transfered.
To answer a related question, ECEs and their grades show up on your transcript in the same way a course would. The only difference is that the course code has the letter X added to it. So, a sociology course might be SOC 234 but a sociology exam might be SOCX 234.

Some colleges require a certain number of credits be taken at their college...I believe Columbia College has a 24-credit (?) residency requirement...so I was wondering if Excelsior has this same requirement and if so, if their ECE would count towards that requirement...hope that makes sense

Having no residency requirement is one of the things that makes the Big 3 unique.
The recent addition of a capstone course requirement at EC, which must be taken through them, has changed their residency requirement to those 3 UL credits.

Excelsior's is 0.
Yep, 0! It makes them an attractive option for people who have a ton of odd credit or who almost graduated once, but never crossed the finish line. It allowed me to pick up an Associate's degree "along the way" to my much bigger goal of getting a Bachelor's degree.

I email the admissions office with the same question. ECE do not fulfill residency requirement for Excelsior only courses taken directly through the school count toward your residency requirements. Excelsior does have residency requirements if you enroll through the Excelsior Course Option for Military. It 6 credits for an Associate and 12 credits for an Bachelors

Did you take the Excelsior Cultural Diversity exam?
I am looking to take that exam. Do you know how I can get a study guide for that exam?
Any help would be appreciated.

Any help would be appreciated. The study guide can be found on the Excelsior College website, with several practice questions. It is not a difficult test to pass, but if you are looking for an A, there are a whole lot of random facts that you have to memorize. I studied well, didn't find most of the test to be too difficult, but just BARELY got an A on it. You can easily find most of the required books for less than $5 each on the internet... except the EC textbook, which I never even bought (how dare they expect me to have three large text books for one freakin' exam???).
