Pmccullough03 Wrote:Alissa this is a great post (I think I've read it three times!!) I think I understand most of it and right now we're leaning towards EC for two of our sons. My one question (as of this moment, haha!) is about the FEMA credits, how and what is involved in having them "transcribed through another school" and what kind of cost are we talking? Again, this forum is amazing, thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences!!
Welcome to the forum!
I agree that Alissa's post is awesome!
Here is some information by Peace123 about the FEMA options for EC:

Please let us know, if you have more questions.
Also note that a capstone course is now required for all Bachelor's degrees at EC.

Just the bachelor's degrees.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.
Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully

Hey I heard it mentioned in passing earlier but I just want to verify, with TESC are you required to take at least one course with them, so that you can have a GPA? Anyone have prior experience with that, ie: any cost-effective and um, grade effective courses for that?

I have heard SOS-110 Technology in Society (or something like that) is a walk in the park. There are also no textbooks to buy since everything is in electronic format and provided to you.
Be aware that taking one class at TESC might net you a 4.00 GPA but anyone who spends five seconds breaking down the transcript will figure out what you did pretty quickly and might think you are trying to trick them.
