Hello,
I was wondering if this forum is beneficial to a nursing student with Excelsior in the LPN to RN program. I have satisfied all general requirements through CLEPs and prior college credit. I am now down to Micro, A&P and the nursing classes.
Is there exam feedback on there for the Excelsior nursing exams?

Hi,
I am an RN that started out as an LPN and finished my RN with Excelsior. All Nurses is a great resource. Here...not so much. Free Clep Prep is somewhat the same but also helpful for passing the exams you have left.
Really the hardest and most stressful part is passing the CPNE. For that I recommend "Let's Counquer the CPNE beast together facebook page. But for now, just concentrate on the A&P. The Micro is tricky, so my advice is to take that after A&P I and A&P II. If you really stubble with Micro try Microbiology for dummies and see if you can volunteer in a lab. I had no problem with Micro after I learn how Micro works. But that's just how my brain works...if I see how something works it's easier to perform on a test.

I'm done!  Thanks to InstantCert, Study.com, ALEKS, CLEP and a LOT of work on my part and a lot of support from hubby and family. If I can do it, so can you!

Thomas Edison State College (TESC) - Bachelor of Science Nursing; RN, BSN (Graduated in the top of 1/4 of class with Sigma Theta Tau honors)
+ 3 courses completed towards MSN.
Excelsior College (EC) - Associates in Applied Science (passed NCLEX- RN exam and became a Registered Nurse)

Free CLEP Prep just brings you back to posts on here for the best advice... So I would say stick with All Nurses. Also, I would absolutely take the EC practice exams. Yeah, they cost money, but I recall seeing some of the review questions or questions very similar to them on the actual exam. A&P I, II and Micro are pretty tough, so I do strongly recommend the EC practice exams no matter what. When you take those exams take note on the areas you are weak in and study those areas with extra effort.
I loved the "for Dummies" books in these subjects. Within about a month, I was ready for each exam. I think you can be too
