Hi guys, I am in the last week of my Cornerstone and Information Literacy at Excelsior for a Bsc in General Business (I was able to transfer in 113 credits which I earned through Sophia & Study.com). I am starting the Capstone course on the 1st of September but I am unable to get any info or reviews online whatsoever about the course except the syllable on Excelsiors website. If anyone on here has done the Capstone course, how is it structured? How much time should I be setting aside for the course compared to the Cornerstone and Info Literacy?
When I complete my degree at Excelsior, I want to immediately do the MAOL through UMPI so I need to start planning now. To those who have done the MAOL at UMPI, how many sessions did it take you to complete the courses? If I want to complete my Masters on a budget, could I be able to finish all 12 courses in 2 sessions or is that a little too ambitious? What is the fastest that people on here have completed it?

Great job, your capstone should be double the work of the Info Lit and Cornerstone combined... Sure, I suggest doing the HAU MBA for $3K, but if you want to do the UMPI MAOL, 2 sessions is probably a very good time frame.

Excelsior University is on my list of schools to attend. Can you check your messages. I have a question about their credit transfer program

Hi there, I am not sure where to look for the messages. I chose Excelsior because I could transfer the most credits in which was 113 (if you don't make use of the partner program"). The only tricky part is figuring out which courses will transfer in because the school will only assist you with mapping out your degree, after you are enrolled and have registered for at least one course. You maybe want to look at the threads on here to assist with mapping out your degree and then apply after you have knocked out most of your courses. You have 30 days to submit transcripts for credit after applying, if you have additional credit that you earn outside of Excelsior and you want it counting towards your credits you have to pay an additional $300 fee.
If I could do things differently, I would take the info literacy and Cornerstone at Excelsior so that I can have access to an advisor to help me map out my degree, and then only knock out the courses from SDC and Sophia because some of the other courses are just guesswork, and you don't want to waste time doing courses that the school will later not accept. It's better to pay that $300 and know that the courses you are doing are actually approved and you are certain that they will actually count towards your degree.
