Does anyone know the passing score at Jacksonville University? The old test was a 50. The new version, which I'm schedule to take next week, seems to be a mystery. I've spoken with my advisor who states it's a Registar's Office issue, but I can't reach anyone there who is even aware of a new test/score format.
Thx! Jax

This is the first test I have taken and am very excited about passing. The passing score for the new test at Indiana Wesleyan University is 400. I scored 451. I mostly studied IC but did do some googling on specific topics that I felt unsure about or felt that I needed more background for better understanding. After getting the initial testing experience and passing the test, I feel more confident that I can receive the remaining 9 electives credits I need to graduate. I plan to take Personal Finance, Principles of Supervision, and Principles of Management. An April graduation is looking like it may be a reality !!

If you are a member, there is really helpful info on the Exam Specific Board. If not, there is also good info on this link.

Jennybears3,
Good luck and good studying. I posted earlier about the passing score for JU. Just to give an update, as of Friday afternoon, I spoke with someone (I think her name is Sue or Susan-- not positive right this instant) at the Registrar's office. She sent out an email to "the board" seeking approval for what JU would accept as a passing grade. She recommended 400. She had only heard back from one person who agreed with her. She still needs to hear back from 6 others. She said she would be sending out a reminder email this week and it would probably be another week or so before she knew anything. I'm hoping they don't raise the standard too high. I needed to take philosophy or the test this semester in order to graduate on time. I dropped the class while waiting for the answer. I already have a pretty heavy semester load. Got my fingers crossed! --jaxie |
