I signed up for college algebra through Sophia. The very first question I believe has an error.
- square root of 15/4
I get -1.93649
Sophia says it’s -1.553616

I think that there are a couple of questions like that, but it's definitely still possible to pass the course.

You want to pass College Algebra fast do all the challenge quizzes and do all the practice exam don't worry if you fail the practice milestone once you finished that you then go and take the real exam you will notice they give you the same exact questions like in the practice milestones but with different number values in each quiz but with the same formules and they already give the solution just change the values and you get the right answer. I pass College Algebra in 3 days.

There are a bunch of typos and mistakes in college courses if you look hard enough.

The only practice milestone I ever took was in College Algebra - by mistake. I try to speed through all my courses, so I found it a frustrating waste of time. However, it's a good point that the practice can help you to prepare and gain confidence if you feel unsure about finishing the milestone within the allotted time.

You should ladder up your knowledge with this math courses to their College Algebra and Statistics if you need them. I think they have a "foundations" course that can help you as well, even though they may not be for credit as they may be more developmental or remedial in nature.

I noticed an error in one of the questions on the final and let them know. They will give you credit for it. They did mention they are working on fixing some of the problems.

@CCCC: Please DM me with any other errors, or send an email to dack.ragus@sophia.org. Mistakes do happen but they're not acceptable on a graded assessment; at least not for long.
