I would assume so, as well, since ECEs are ACE approved:
http://www.acenet.edu/AM/Template.cfm?Se...ntID=24898
Oh, here's where on TESC's site that says they accept ECEs:
Thomas Edison State College | Other Examination Programs
Do you know if the opposite is true or not? I may just be overlooking it, but I don't see TECEPs on this list:
ACE | Find an ACE-Reviewed Certification Examination
It's probably right in front of me and I am not seeing it.

Nevermind, I saw on forum member barcotta's degree plan that he used a TECEP, so I can see that they are indeed accepted at Excelsior. I've probably referred to his plan about fifty times now. I knew the answer was right in front of my face!

Thanks (again) Alissa! I was confused because an adviser at TE didn't know what an ECE was!

You mentioned that TESC does not give you credit for "D" scores from Excelsior. Am I right? I just submitted a "D" grade but it takes about 6 weeks for evaluation. By the way, I did speak to a TESC rep., and he told me that they do take grades of "D" from excelsior as long as you maintain a GPA of 2.0 or above.
Currently enrolled at TESC:
A.A.S in Respiratory Care (need english to finish)
MOS 91V US ARMY
A.A.S in computer studies (need english to finish)
MOS 25B US ARMY
6 more S.H. to finish both degrees hilarious
passed CLEP:
spanish 65
information systems and computer app 50
Intro to Psych 57
passed dsst:
intro to computers 53
heres to your health 55
substance abuse 400
management information systems 50
Intro to world religions 457
civlil war & reconstruction 57
Technical writing 53
criminal justice 455
Passed excelsior:
health differences across the lifespan 1 "C"
essentials of nursing: health differences "B"
Pathophysiology "B"
Nursing Fundamentals "C"
failed:
intro to sociology
A&I lit
Freshman comp
Natural Science

I received 2 "D"s on on a couple of ECE exams that did not show up on my evaluation for TESC, and my GPA was 2.67 at the time.

Alissa or whomever can answer from experience... Do you know if tesc will allow you the letter grade from an ece? it doesn't say on the tesc link to other exam programs.
Also, has anyone here been told by tesc why you don't get a letter grade for a tecep? I think that's crap

Nope, sorry, I have no idea whether or not TESC would allow you the grade from an ECE, or why they wouldn't. Perhaps a TESC student or alumni would know the answer to this one.
