Is there not Clep test flashcards for English Lit 1 and 2 here?
If not, how in the world do I study for them

Don't know that CLEP has Eng Lit I & II... I do see American Lit, Analyzing & Interpreting Lit and English Literature on their list.

After you're signed in here, there's some posts about what to study in the "Specific Exam Feedback" section of the forums.

There's also the site Free Clep Prep.com that has a lot of resources for studying each of the exams.

When I took A&I Lit, I basically just did as many practice tests as possible. You should definitely check out the Petersons practice tests from here. (This is the same site that slickelvis gave you, but I gave you the link to the practice tests). These tests are really nice to help you prepare for the real CLEP.

Also, you can check out the Collegeboard website here. It gives you a list of what to expect on the test. Another thing you could use is the Clep Official Study Guide. I borrowed it through my local library. It has practice questions and information about the CLEP.

***EDIT*** - I just double checked the Peterson test website and it doesn't look like they have any practice tests for English Lit. They do have American Lit, and A&I Lit. Hopefully someone else may know of another place for online practice tests for English Literature.
