I would go over and check out the Specific Exam Feedback forum. Go to the English Comp section. There are some great tips on how to write an essay for the CLEP quickly and concisely. There are also some sites listed to give you additiional helps. I think the ideas there could also with a comp class.

I agree with the previous post. Keep going with your class. The experience will make you better prepared for the CLEP if you need to go that route.

You nailed it. While I can write and communcate my thoughts, I am having a really hard time doing it by the book. I just lack the exoperience and practice I should have gotten a long, long time ago.
