Will using Instacert for the English Comp CLEP help me pass with 50+ score? The flashcards are pretty simple and I am worried that the test will be a lot tougher. I have never taken a CLEP so any tips will be appreciated!!

Besides preparing for the multiple choice section of the College Composition exam, you also need to prepare for the two essays you will be required to write. The score for those essays is included in the overall score. This is all assuming that your school does indeed require the College Composition exam and not the College Composition Modular (which offers optional essays, not included in the exam score).

It hasn't been called English Composition in years. It was renamed College Composition. College Composition and College Composition Modular are different as previously pointed out and are not generally interchangeable.
Are you only taking one CLEP? If you're going to take more than one CLEP, it might be to your advantage to explain your plan and goals. We might be able to offer a way to ease your way into testing for college credit.

My school allows me to take either one, but I'd rather not write the essays. Im trying to finish up my degree in accounting and have a few classes that are gen eds left. In the interest of saving money I'm taking College Composition (Modular), Government, and one of the U.S. Histories. Havent decided which ones yet.
